David Pereira and Adriana McDonough, avowed lovers of wings, drove two-and-a-half-hours from their homes in Ontario to enjoy the 20th annual @buffalowingfestival at Highmark Stadium. “I came to Wingfest for the first time ten years ago and really liked it,” says David. “We’re staying in Hamburg,” says Adriana, “not too far away and on our way back home tomorrow we’ll probably hit the Galleria Mall. We don’t have anything like this in Canada,” she adds. “I took a ton of pictures of buildings in downtown — the architecture in Buffalo is gorgeous. I’d tell anyone to come to Buffalo for a weekend and make nice getaway of it.” “Come to Buffalo for the wings. Wingfest is a must-do,” says David.
