Their son, a recent transplant to Buffalo, recommended it to his parents. “Since we’ve been here we walked around looking at all the historic homes,” says Christopher. “This reminds me of Cape May, New Jersey, on the southern tip of New Jersey, with all the Victorian homes.” “We also walked around Delaware Park, which is gorgeous,” says Karen, “and we did a walk through Forest Lawn Cemetery which is nearby.” “I read a book about Red Jacket,” says Christopher, “and liked seeing the monument to him at the cemetery. We ate dinner at @hutchsbuffalo, which was excellent. We also visited the @buffalomilitarypark and really liked learning about the whole history of the Erie Canal at Canalside.” “Buffalo is vibrant and nice,” concludes Karen.
