BUFFALO RIVERWORKS

Maherjuhane Abed-Dayem and Sierra Burningham, of Greece, New York were in Buffalo Memorial Day weekend for a family wedding. Before heading home, they wanted to check out @buffalo.riverworks, which they’d heard about from TikTok, and the action along Buffalo River. Before hitting the waterfront, they enjoyed themselves on Hertel Avenue. “We had pizza at Bob and John’s — it was the best pizza I’ve ever had,” says Sierra. “I want to come back to Buffalo just for their pizza and salad bar.” “We also went to Kosta’s, it was so good,” adds Maherjuhane. When asked to name her favorite thing in Buffalo, Sierra says, “Silent Disco at Canalside (@buffalowaterfront); you could switch through three channels for different music. It was great. We also had really good ice cream at Canalside.” When asked if Buffalo was similar to Rochester, Maherjuhane declares, “We don’t have anything like Riverworks in Rochester!”
