PARTY ON THE PORTICO

Enjoying a balmy evening at the @buffalohistorymuseum’s Party on the Portico were four friends: (left to right) Maggie Gildbride, Laura Curthoys, Catie Robinson, and Nihar Sighal. Maggie had flown in from Brooklyn. “I have a wonderful summer weekend ahead – a fun wedding with friends – and this concert,” she said. “I really wanted to see @sundayreignband, an up and coming local band from Buffalo. I follow them on social media.” Maggie was planning on dining at a few restaurants she had visited before. “I love @thelittleclubbuffalo on Hertel, they have the best wine list in Buffalo. I’ll also go to – and recommend – @billyclubbuffalo on Allen Street, and @terrace_buffalo, which is near where we are right now. For the wedding gift I purchased a painting by a local Buffalo artist Patrick Nossavage (@pndesignco) because the bride and groom are such champions of the local art scene. I bought the companion piece for myself: theirs is titled ‘Day Begonia,’ mine is ‘Night Begonia.'”
