In the BUF caught up to Columbus, Ohio newlyweds Ben D. and Michael M. and friends as they were walking along Lincoln Parkway in Delaware Park. “Our trip is all about visiting pals – but another big part of this visit was to see the new @buffaloakgartmuseum,” says Ben, a Buffalo ex-pat. “We can’t wait to come back and see it again, the collection is really, really great.” “This was my first time seeing the AKG,” says Michael.” I love how the buildings are each a different architectural style.” The group had brunch earlier at @terrace_buffalo and raved about the menu, service, and the view of Hoyt Lake. “We went to AKG, and then The Terrace — I highly recommend that for a Sunday combo,” says Michael. “Our friends, Hope and Mike, live off of Hertel, so we know about @johnnysmeatsbuffalo, and we always buy some things from there to take home, including horseradish sauce,” says Ben. “Other places we love are @frizzysbarandgrill, and @fat_bobs,” says Michael. “When we visit Buffalo, we always go to @barbilltavern in East Aurora,” adds Ben. “We also really like the @buffalobotanicalgardens here, they’re different than Franklin Park Conservatory where we live. There’s a different scope of what they have growing.”
